Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Daceyville school community, where we are committed to providing an engaging, supportive and inspiring learning environment for all students. We value the cultural knowledge within our diverse community and work hard to connect classroom learning with life beyond the school through project-based learning, community partnerships and opportunities for students to present their work to varied audiences. Strong relationships with parents and carers are central to our approach, as we collaborate to support each child’s academic, social and emotional growth, preparing them to become life-long learners and active global citizens. Through well-developed programs like Positive Behaviour for Learning and Circle Time, students are encouraged to take responsibility for their learning, behaviour and wellbeing, while developing self-esteem, resilience and social skills. Alongside this, a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities, such as band, dance, drumming, PSSA sport, gardening and choir enrich our students' experiences, ensuring that every child is supported to reach their full potential.
